Further strengthening partnerships in Southeast Asia

May 29, 2026

In the beginning of May, IDL Diagnostics team visited our distributors in Indonesia and the Philippines as part of our ongoing efforts to strengthen local partnerships and stay closely connected to our markets.

During our time in Jakarta, we had an in-depth discussion with our distribution partner, PT Djembatan Dua, focusing on our existing and opportunities to further develop the business. In addition, we engaged with hospitals and clinicians to explore how we can expand our work in the region beyond typhoid fever, including opportunities within oncology and how we can leverage the capabilities of the concile global joint venture to support future growth.

In Manila we held similarly constructive discussions with our distributor, Medical Trends & Technologies, Inc. (MEDTEK), focusing on market dynamics, on-going collaboration and future development opportunities. Strong local partnerships remain essential to ensuring consistent delivery and support for our solutions.

We also visited hospitals in Metro Manila, which provided us with valuable insight into how TUBEX is used in laboratory environments and how it fits into everyday workflows. Direct dialogue with laboratory professionals provided a clearer understanding of both the strengths of our current offering and areas where further improvements could add value.

The insights gained during these visits will play an important role in shaping our next steps. We look forward to continuing this momentum and further developing opportunities together, including through the concile global joint venture.
