Held from 7-11 September in conjunction with the visit of HRH Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden to Indonesia, Sweden-Indonesia Sustainable Partnership (SISP) Indonesia 2026 brought together more than 50 Swedish companies and Team Sweden organisations to strengthen partnerships and explore opportunities for sustainable growth and innovation.
Representing our company at the event were Adintya Putri and Putri Rezqita, who joined healthcare leaders, policymakers, academics, and industry experts in exploring opportunities to strengthen collaboration between Sweden and Indonesia.
For our team, the week provided an inspiring opportunity to engage with Indonesian leaders and stakeholders across healthcare, academia, and digital transformation. Discussions focused on how Swedish expertise and Indonesian ambitions can come together to support healthier and more sustainable societies through capacity building, research collaboration, and healthcare service improvement.
A key highlight was the Sweden Indonesia Sustainability Partnership (SISP) Conference, where Indonesia’s Vice Minister of Health participated in discussions and visited the exhibition area, including the IDL booth. The engagement reflected a shared commitment to advancing healthcare innovation and improving patient outcomes.
The programme continued with meetings involving hospital associations, professional medical associations, healthcare agencies, and physicians from across Indonesia, providing valuable insights into healthcare priorities beyond Jakarta. The week concluded with visits to Dharmais Cancer Hospital and Harapan Kita Mother & Child Hospital, offering a firsthand look at ongoing efforts to strengthen specialised care.
These discussions also highlighted the growing role of diagnostics in improving patient outcomes, particularly within oncology and infectious disease. Through Concile Global, the joint venture between IDL and concile, there is significant potential to expand access to point-of-care testing, enabling faster diagnoses and more informed clinical decisions. By bringing diagnostic capabilities closer to patients, innovative solutions can help support earlier intervention and better outcomes across Indonesia.
SISP Indonesia 2026 demonstrated the value of long-term collaboration between Sweden and Indonesia, and we look forward to building on these connections to support the future of healthcare in Indonesia.
